Dan, sorry for leaving that part out. My letter had all of the data; dealer code, region, dealer name, dealer address and production date. The production date was February 6, 1970 and my body build date is B05. My vin is 70S402856.

So I wonder if your info was on a different sheet than mine or if only part of it was unreadable. Seems like a lot of vins could be on a sheet. My vin is 401586, A22. I wonder if Terry M sent for his. Seems like I remember his LT-1 being between ours.

Yes, mine is between you guys -- and no I have not yet sent for my data. I am waiting for the rush to die down and there will be no new information there for me if there is anything.

bummer for me too - nothing for 71 built in 3rd week of august 70 1149 serial # ending. My money being refunded but sure wish I could have scored-I am jealous of others too.

Just heard today, my 71 LS5, Sept 70 build, SN 1632 - no records found

Add me as one of those who's shipping info is missing... Mine is a late '69 (Nov) build as well. Hopefully something will turn up for those of us in the "black hole" of documentation...

On a positive note, I appreciate that the research fee was refunded; that takes a little bit of the sting out of the situation.
