For my Daytona Yellow/Black 1969 L36 convertible the dealer who took delivery was Robert V Reynolds in Allegan MI. Does anyone what happened with this dealer. Does it still exist or are there any successors? Contact information would be highly appreciated!!!
regards,
Rob.

Re: Zone 45, code 308 - Robert V Reynolds, Allegan MI
Rob,
I've lived 30 miles north of Allegan for most of my life and never heard of it, so I suspect it went away years ago. I can ask a friend who might know but it sure isn't around now and probably hasn't been in 20-30 years.

Rob, a little off subject, but with this new found dealer information that everyone is throwing around, would you think a modification to the registries to be able to search for original dealerships would be worth the effort? I would think there are more than one original owners out there of these cars that have no idea or record of what the VIN was on the car, but perhaps by narrowing it down to the original dealership and vehicle options listed they may be able to find the Corvette they bought new. Probably too unlikely of a scenario to warrant the effort though.

Just "thinking outloud"
Steve
That is an interesting thought. Let me think a little about this and I might decide to add it to all three registries...

Rob,
Check with the county on tax records maybe you'll be able to dig up some info.
