Just Got My Shipping Info- Bummer!

I've owned my 1964 Corvette for 10 years but have never been able to get ownership detail prior to 1972. I was hopeful that the new shipping info service would finally get me there but no such luck. The dealer code is 563 in zone 3- no dealer info available- believed to be in MO or IL.
If anyone in Missouri or Illinois has original paperwork on their mid-year I sure would appreciate their checking their dealer code, zone and dealer on the off chance it might be the above; or at least it might give me the zone.
It is hard to believe that with all the work NCRS has done and all the input members have given that we would not at least know what geographic area zone 3 was in the mid sixties.

This shipping report feature is a great service to members, I am just not one of the lucky ones.

An additional thought/question- on my report the dealer code and zone is given but not the dealer name. Does that mean that on all shipping records the dealer name is omitted for dealer 563 and zone 3?? Or is it possible that on other shipping records for that dealer/zone the dealer's name and address is given. If so will NCRS, once the initial rush is over, go back and try to cross reference the reports? Could not this info be put in a database so it could queried?

I have the original tank sheet off of my 67 and the zone is 3 and the dealer number is 663 which was Palcke Chevrolet that was on Kings Highway in South St Louis Mo.
    Hope this helps a little.

      Bill,
Maybe you should have tried to suck another $40 out of him for that info.
I think charging $40 for no or limited info is B.S. There are a lot of disgruntled people out there regarding this and it's giving the NCRS a giant black eye.

Bill, thank-you so much for looking and that is helpful. What I am learning after looking at he NCRS listing of dealer codes is that Zones were very widespread and may have not always been contiguous geographically- when you can sell all you make (in the 50s and 60s) why worry about organization...

To the other comment- I don't feel bad about my $40. I think this is a great service and will help 80+% of the people. I am hopeful that out of this NCRS will do more and figure out how to cross reference other shipping results to fill in my blanks...Hope...

I beg to differ with you. Over 90% percent of the requests answered to date have received good information. Yes the Shipping data report has some damage and some zone and/or dealer numbers are not available. Those dealer names which are located on seperate pages of the GM dealer records that have not been identified are being reearched in the GM dealer records. If we find them and there is a good chance we will that information will be supplied to those members we could not answer completely at no charge. Those with missing dealer and zone information have received refunds. A black eye? Not hardly six weeks ago most had no idea this stuff would ever be available, the half empty glass syndrome amazes me.
