Got the shipping report on my January 21, 1965 production date car. It went to Bruder Chevrolet in Hollywood California. Dealer code 61 zone 20. I've added this info to the Dealer Codes database and since it does not appear in any material that I have searched so far, I am hoping someone on this board may have some knowledge of this dealership from times past.
Thanks in advance for any info.

There were once-upon-a-time a lot of small Chevrolet dealerships all over the Los Angeles area. Virtually all of these have been gone for MANY years.
While restoring the interior of the car, I noted a vibrating etching pen scrawl on the radio casing saying 'Raymond Leban 300 Palo Verdes Redondo 4-19-65'. So I am guessing the radio was removed and repaired shortly after the car was purchased. The Hollywood dealership info now confirms the original locale. I am trying the archived newspaper search suggested on this forum and will keep looking.
Not much out there that I could find. Got this. Better than nothing !

Thanks for taking the time to look for this informaiton - and it is one more piece in the puzzle. Who knows what may turn up? I'm hoping there may be someone on this board with a car purchased from that delearship way back then. Its fun looking!
My 1964 Daytona blue/blue FI coupe came from the same dealer. I don't more history on the car other than it is listed in survey at the end of the 1964 chapter of Noland Adam's book for, I recall, part of the FI unit. Car came with power windows, J50 and J65 and 4.11 posi if anyone recalls the car.
