I just received my Shipping Data Report from NCRS for my '72 LT-1 with A/C. I'm very pleased. It verifies the production date with my trim plate. It also shows the Dealer Code as 173 in Zone 20. But then it give 2 possible dealers in 2 different states?! I tend to believe it's the first one, because of history and evidence that came with the car. That is Fletcher's Chevrolet in Encino, CA. An online search showed the address as 16425 Ventura Blvd. But there is now a Hallmark Creations business shown at that address. Can anyone from the area give me a clue on whether they are still in business, moved, or under a new name? The other dealer was a Lamb Chevrolet in Prescott, AZ. But the Zone number lends itself to CA, according to the NCRS zone listing. I added my info in there now, but noted the business existence as "unknown". The hunt begins for many of us with this piece of paper that came in the mail!

Re: Seeking info on Fletchers Chevrolet in Encino, CA
Check previous thread from a week ago.
I see why you may not have found it in a search, the dealer name is misspelled.
There is not much help in the thread unfortunately, because the store changed hands in the 70s. I would be surprised if you find any useful history on your car beyond the info in the shipping record letter.
good luck

Re: Seeking info on Fletchers Chevrolet in Encino, CA
Hello from England,
My 1965 fuellie was sold new by Fletcher's Chevrolet ,Encino , CA. Shipping data report says Dealer code 173 in zone 20. I understand it is now Fletcher Jones, Mercedes dealers in the Los Angeles area. As with most corvettes in the UK I have no paperwork for the car, but it is on Jim Gessners 1965 Fuel Injection register.
