Re: Pennsylvania Dealer Name Begins with a Letter K
Steve,
When you talk to the dealership owner ask him if the dealer is Zone 49 Dealer Code 290? and if they were open in 1963. If the dealer was and he doesnt mine maybe get his email and I can put him in contact with Jon he can find out about if his 63 vette sold there.
Thanks,
Matt.Last edited by Matthew L.; November 1, 2010, 07:02 PM.- Top

Re: Pennsylvania Dealer Name Begins with a Letter K
I just spoke with the owner of Klick Lewis Chevrolet. He told me that the previous owners had purged all records before he purchased the company. He also said the he did not recognize the zone or dealer code that was posted.

Re: Pennsylvania Dealer Name Begins with a Letter K
Dave and All,
According to the NCRS Dealer Code information, Klick-Lewis was Dealer Code 294 in Zone 49.
Still looking for Dealer Code 290 or leads on any other Dealers starting with "Ka" thru "Kl".
Thanks,

Possibly Kovich Chevrolet? I understand from my father-in-law that the dealer's son had a new Corvette every year to beat around town in. They were in Tamaqua or Nesquehoning, PA.- Top

Kleinfelter Chevrolet only closed up a few years back (don't know why I didn't think of them when this thread was first posted), in fact, I had wanted to go to their equipment auction but I figured I'd just spend too much money on things I didn't really need. Sounds like you discovered a big piece of your owner history puzzle!
