The shipping data report shows my 68 BB roadster was built in May of 68. It was delivered to McMurray Chevrolet in Black Mountain, NC. I have the tank sticker which confirms this information but as of now this is the only paperwork I have for the car and no ownership information prior to 1985.
I believe this dealership was sold in the 90's and will find out what I can from the dealership there now. Any potential leads would be appreciated. Thanks
For those with tank stickers, it would be great if the NCRS info contained the Ident number like this shipper slip Ralph Spears sent me. It is from a car he ordered new while working at the dealership.
If it did, the Ident number from the tank sticker and shipper slip would tie the two together.
One positive note is, you do have ownership info prior to 1985...GMAC owned the car in 1968.
