Buzz Chew was a dealer in Eastern LI on the south fork. There is a chevy dealer in Riverhead now, but if it was there back then, I don't know. This one is Eagle Chevrolet. It was incorporated into the Eagle Auto Group a few years ago.

Just got some info back today on this subject. Been lookin' since you posted. I believe the original dealer was Okeefe Chevrolet who sold to Kinny Chevrolet, who sold to Apple Chevrolet who then sold to Eagle Chevrolet !!
Hope one of those names rings a bell. Sorry to take so long to get an answer.

Hi, Tom
Okeefe Chevrolet rings a bell, that may be it
I moved to Ca in 1980 so I don't remember the others ones.
On my visit back to LI 2 years ago seeing all the Vettes running around prompted me to finally get one.
I bought a 78 L-82.
My visit last year ended up with my brother buying a new Z-06
Now I'm trying to find a 75 Convert L-82
Thanks for your help
