Re: Any remember this licenseplate CAL ICHW 103
Possibly the car was owned by someone with an interest in Ion-Cyclotron Harmonic Wave. Maybe somebody who worked here ??? Just a thought ........ Mozer Space Sciences Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley, California 94720
I am totally guessing doing some searches on ICHW and noticed there was a Sedish Sattelite called Viking that worked with these waves.Tom Hendricks

Tom, Claus
Hard to say what that plate is without more information. ie, is that a blue plate with yellow letters? Or a later white plate with blue letters? In that case, it might be 1CHW 103. Or if the original Black with yellow letters from 1964, then it could actually be ICH 103 or CHW 103. Either series would be about right for 1964.
Info on CA plates here --->
If you are an out-of-state college student, you may be wondering whether or not you need to register your car in the state where your school is located.
In any case, the chance anyone actually remembers the car or the license plate is pretty remote. I was a teenager in 1964, living in Southern CA, and into cars a few years after that. I sure do not remember that plate, but then again I have no idea of any of the license plates on any of my own cars way back then, except perhaps one or two. Claus, I think you are very much at a deader than dead end on this one.- Top
