Looking for information on Swepstones Chevrolet, Dealer code 591, in zone 9.
The dealership appears to not exist today.
Laurelville is a small town south of Columbus. I have done the usual searches and turned up nothing.

I have a 1972 coupe, Classic White, base engine, fully optioned ex the rear window defroster, serial number 523089. The car was first registered / imported into Ontario Canada on November 11, 1976. Owner at that time was Danny J. Stergiou of Downsview Ontario. I have ownership information from November 1976 to the present.

Holy cow....that is one small town and must have been one small dealership....that Corvette had to be bought locally and someone knows it....call some auto related businesses that might be left.....I am serious SMALL!

Dino is right. I found a previous owner of our car by just calling a NAPA parts store in a really small town and asking for the oldest employee there. He knew who I was looking for without me even having a name.
Also, if there's a local cafe where the "old guys" hang out for coffee you may find someone who remebers.

ya it is a small town. Good suggestion to call a napa / auto parts store. Will do that and let you know if I find anything. thx

I started digging around for records on Swepstones when you first posted this. I found nothing. Tonight, I drafted a letter to the historical society of Hocking county for you. Hopefully they might be able to provide some clues. Fingers crossed.
