I have what I think to be a copy of the original window sticker for my 1963 convertible. What value is there for me to obtain a Corvette Shipping Data Report, now available for 1962 to 1975?

Well........... you say you THINK you have a copy of the window sticker. The NCRS will possibly confirm the info on the sticker you have as far as delivering dealer. It doesn't cost that much for the service and it will possibly confirm some good history about your car. Just do it !

I have what I know to be the original window sticker for my 1970. I bought the Corvette new, and am the one and only owner. My name and address (at the time) are on the Protect o Plate. I sent off for the Corvette Shipping Data Report just because it would be another piece of documentation for the car -- to add to all the other documentation I have. At $40 it is dirt cheap.

Roy, other than the window sticker, what factory paperwork is involved in the validation?

The service can validate original GM issued documents such as any page of the order copy, shipper, wholesale or retail invoice, window sticker, MSO, etc. The service does not authenticate dealer generated paper only GM generated paper. The charge is 40.00 for all pieces you have on a specific VIN.

The “Car Shipper” is one of the many documents we can validate, also one of the easiest to counterfeit.

A good high quality copy works for us we do not want your original paper.
