I don't know much about them, but somehow they were involved with or partners with Hicks Brothers Chevrolet in Kansas City, MO. ( This is listed on a ficticious name document in Missouri ) Possibly a name change or partnership / buyout, or DBA, I'm not certain. There is a Ben Hicks who appears on an old 67 Missouri document. He is listed as the VP of the company. Maybe you can track him down. That's the only clue I could dig up right away. Good luck.
P.S. The address you have on McGee matches the old documents.

Thanks for the lead Tom, I did a google search and found Ben Jr., who is in the dealership transaction business in TX. Just send him a note and hope to get a reply from him soon....

I live in Kansas City and remember the Bill Ireland Chevrolet dealership from the sixties. I had a rear fender on a '64 Coupe repaired there in 1966. The dealership is obviously long gone, and I'm not sure about the building.
I am happy to help however possible. Tell me about your car, as I just might remember it by some odd chance.

Hi Harry,
No luck w/ Ben Jr, just got a note from him that his dad didn't keep any records from Hicks Brothers.
The location is now a parking lot of Kansas City Star.
It is a '64 vette DOB = 1/20/64
- Riverside red
- 2-tone interior (red/white)
- convertible w/ air cond
- 327/365 4-speed
The 2-tone and the convertible w/ A/C should be a rare combo, hope you remember.
