Hello, does anyone have any info on Matway Chevrolet, just outside Pittsburgh. I would assume closed dealership many years ago. Dealer code 521 Zone 13. Nothing on the web, anything would be helpful. Thanks

Doing a little poking around on this one right now. The obituary that Rick found was for Richard G. Matway who died in April of 06. He was actually listed as the VP of the company on original documents for the dealership in March of 1959.

The President at the time was Edward J. Matway. I have not done my homework on him yet. He was the brother of Richard. Perhaps he survives. Notice a son is listed in the obituary as well. Ryan D. Matway. He is listed as the last president of the company.


Locate Edward and Ryan and you will find some answers I bet !!! I will PM you the last known address for Ryan listed on a dealer document I could find. Keep us posted. Happy Thanksgiving.
