First known owner was Jay Wright, a used car dealer who bought it at the Bordentown auction in 1972 or 1973. The car was yellow when he bought it. He sold it to Louis Zuegner, a CPA in Flemington, NJ, who only kept it a few months and then sold it back to Jay Wright. Jay then sold it to Ed Capwell of Columbia, NJ in 1973, who owned it until 8/4/11, when he sold it to me. Ed owned Village Collision Service and re-painted the car it's original Daytona Blue.
I've spoken to Jay Wright and he has no records of the cars he owned that long ago. He said since he bought it at auction, it was most likely purchased from another dealer that had taken it in trade.
Looking for any information related to dealer and original owner.
