Looking for any History on a 66 Convertible

Well I'm looking for any form of documentation on my 66 convertible built 12/16/65. Vin # 194676S108764, delivered to Merollis Chevrolet, Detroit MI. I purchased the car in '74 but have no documentation, hoping someone reading this may know of this car or picked up some paperwork at a swapmeet somewhere! Can't hurt to ask.

Reading John Sobol's post from Sept 14th our cars must have been built within a week or two!

To Tom I appreciate your willingness to help, waiting to see what happens!

Thank You in advance to all members.

If this avenue dosen't pan out I will contact Automotive Ancestry per members suggestions.

Well I called the dealer again today, can't get to the office or general manager let alone the dealer principal. Only the sales manager, and you can guess how that went! Dead End.

      Thanks for the information.

      Must be some way!!!

Thanks to all for the help!!

Take the car and make a visit to the dealership, do some talking especially to any old timers who still might work there. Face to face is the best way.
