It is great for Buick codes ! Won't help much for Chevrolet though. If you look at zone 7, dealer 383, that was Parker Motors, now our dealership. BUDS Chevrolet, Buick. St. Marys, Ohio. Our Chevrolet zone and dealer code is 09 144.

HiTom, The dealer I'm looking for may have sold both chevy and buick back in the day under the code and zone i'm looking for right? When I broke down my VIN the car was made in St Louis so it could be possable that it was sold out of MO?. I'm not douting your info I'm just trying to get all this stuff right,and it's hard when the dealer is closed. But any and all info any one has is appriciated.

I believe the dealer code for Chevrolet and Buick would have been different. Like I said in my earlier post, our dealership sells Buick and Chevrolet. The code for our dealer on your list is not our Chevrolet code.

I assume you have a 70-72. All of them were made in St. Louis.

Hi,Keith Yes I have a 72,I did some research on the vin and found the vette was built in St Louis,Thats what got me to think may be it did come out of a dealer in Missori.But Tom said zone 13 is in pittsburgh and yes this is true,But zone 13 is also in MO but its a chevy/buick dealer.I called GM personly and they have no records on dealers and zones back then they were lost in a fire. I can't imagen I have the only vette that came dealer 133 zone 13 in pittsburgh or Missori. I just keep hitting a brick wall.

My point was all 72 vettes were made in St. Louis. No matter where they were sold. It's just a coinsidence yours is from the same area. Good Luck in your search.

The dealer name starts with the letter " C ".
The dealer is in one on the following states PA, OH, WV, MD.

Hello Scott,
I have looked at the Chevelle Forum dealer data base and NCRS dealer data base.
The dealer numbers and alphabet letters progress in order of from low to high. Most used cars do not move from where they were sold new. The car may have moved around within 100 miles from sold new.
