Anyone whose car originally came from a Los Angeles area dealership : If you will email me at billygould@comcast.net with the production date of your car I will try to send you a digital page or two from the LA Times with an ad from about the time your car was on the lot.Please include your email address in the text of your request. My 68 was sold by Hanson Chevrolet in West Los Angeles. I have yet to contact Bill about seeing what he can do about finding and ad for me but I soon will.
When I bought the car I also received this article cut from the Sunday March 24 1968 Los Angeles Times. It obviously helped inspire the original owner to buy a new Corvette. He bought a Polar White 435HP convertible. The car was built on April 18 and delivered on May 10th.
