Got my shipping report...is Havre Motor Co. out of business?

Good evening all. Got my shipping report recently and find my '66 Corvette was sold new at Havre Motor Company in Ravenna, Oh. I googled Harvre obtaining a telephone only to get "sorry this number is no longer in service". Anyone in that know if they are closed? Any contact info for Harve?

I don't think they are open. I will keep checking to see if I can locate a contact.

Took me a whileto dig up the records, but they were opened in 1947. Closed in 2006. I have the owner's name and address. I will PM it to you . Tom

Would greatly appreciate your efforts......I tried calling the dealership number. I'll try locating the owner but would again appreciate some help in locating the owner. Thanks again.

Got your PM Tom. No available telephone # for Leon III, however, did find listing for Trey (son?) at the same address. Have you conversed or know Mr. Havre? If so would like to be able to mention your name as "door opener" should I reach him.

I was looking throught these posts and saw that you have some Ohio dealership information.
Do you by chance have anything on Harvey Chevrolet in Chagrin Falls, Ohio?
My 1966 coupe was delivered there in March 1966. I contacted the Chagrin Falls Historical Society and they sent me pictures of the dealership during the mid to late 60's.
If you have anything on Harvey Chevrolet, please contact me with that information.

Are we talking about the same dealership Paul? The information I was given was owners name being Leon Havre......not Harvey. Shipping report indicates Havre as well. Not sure if your image is applicable. Thanks.

I was reading the thread about Chevy dealers in Ohio and saw one from a member that was in the Ohio Valley Chapter and indicated thet he has some information about Ohio dealers. I thought that that was you but I see that I was mistaken. My car was sent to Harvey Chevrolet in Chagrin Falls, OH and I was hoping for some information about this dealer.
The other member was Tom Hendricks. How do I contact him with these pictures and information request?
