    Amazing find

I got my shipping report long ago, had a car detective track down the 9 previous owners of my car, but the most exciting piece of history so far has been when I was replacing the antenna cable and under the back carpet were two match books from Central Motor Co. the Chevy dealer who sold my car originally in Great Falls, Montana. You just can never give up on finding original items about your car.

Tell us about the car detective you used. It would be interesting to know the cost and the time it took him to track down the 9 previous owners.

It is Bill Gould, AutoAncestry.com, well known among Corvette owners and NCRS. It took about 5 months and cost $300, not bad considering all I got from it, well worth it.
