Does anyone remember any of the sales people or mechanics at Starr Chevrolet in East Orange New Jersey in the 60s? I am researching the history of the 63 fuelie tanker that was sold new at Starr Chevrolet. I understand that they had a Corvette showroom called Corvette City during that time.I have been told that the sales manager was named Cash Baron but that lead has not panned out. I will appreciate any leads. thanks, Bill Gould billygould@comcast.net

Bill,
You know about as much as I do, as my 1963 Z06 small tank was purchased from them. Have dealer emblem on back of "Lady" and NCRS dealer report confirmed they sold the car - would you share information if you find out anything - Rick Aleshire - c5vetter@comcast.net
BTW - it was STAR ChevroletRick Aleshire

Re: Starr Chevrolet and Corvette City- East Orange New Jersey
Bill,
Sorry I'm late to the game, but I guess better late than never. My '70 LT1 was purchased new in April of 1970 and I have the original sales receipt. The salesman's name on the receipt is "W. Uhrig", but that's all I have.
Edit: Bill, I tried to find him on the internet, without luck, but if you're more successful, please let me know. Thanks.
