Anyone remember Skip Scofield salesman at Corvette City/Star Chevrolet in East Orange

Looking for any information about Clarence "Skip" Scofield who was the salesman at Corvette City, a part of Star Chevrolet in East Orange NJ in the early 1960's. He was also active in road racing on the east coast during that period.Am I spelling his name correctly? How old was he in those days? Thanks for any help. Bill Gould

Rick, this salesman's name was given to me by the son of one of Star Chevrolet's salesman as being the person who ran the Corvette City division. He has been very difficult to find and I am hoping that someone who bought a car from him can remember something about him. Even an approximate age would help in eliminating men with the same name.

I grew up living between Star Chev. and Malcolm Konner Chev. in Paramus N.J. - in it's day Malcolm Konner was the largest volume Corvette dealer in the US. Since Star also was pretty large itself I would think most of the people working for one would know the people working at the other. I would work back through the listings and get all the info you can on Malcolm Konner Chev - I would think their sales mgr. would know the sales mgr. at Star. You never know, keep on turning over rocks. Good luck
