My '65 was delivered to Nickey Chevrolet. I wonder is anyone connected with the dealership back then has any records of cars sold?

Re: Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago
I dunno........48 years is a long time to keep paper records. However, Nickey has a special following with its own website and registery. I would try there to see what others are doing.

I grew up in Chicago (south side) and well remember the Nickey cars and the MR NORM Grand Spaulding Dodge Super Stock MOPARS.

I grew up in Indiana and we listened to top 40 AM radio (WLS) I remember the ads for MR NORM and Nickey very well. Their slogon was "Nickey Chevrolet Home of the backwards K".I dunno........48 years is a long time to keep paper records. However, Nickey has a special following with its own website and registery. I would try there to see what others are doing.

There is a lot of history of the dealership on this video.

Re: Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago
That's pretty bad how those old radio ads stick in your head. I remember the address of Nickey as being 2501 Irving Park Road. I was wrong...It was 4501 Irving Park Road. Now I can barely remember my own address. I do recall when you got your car...It was a barn find correct?

Re: Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago
That is true. It was not a modified car; however, it appears to be a fuely car instead of a 365 hp car.- Top
