Does anyone have knowledge of the sales process of cars sent to the zone office for zone use or engineering? I have one sent to dealer code 0 in zone 27( Long Island) . This is the NY city zone and was produced 11/12/ 62. Any help would be truly appreciated ! Thanks in advance ! stan 19259

Yes . I won the use of any Chevrolet for a year in 1995 for having the highest score in the country on Chevrolet certified technician tests . My tests were in painting . I chose a new 96 yellow LT4 . I was able to go to Bowling Green and watch it be built . Ride in it on the test roller and its first drive outside where the plant worker ran the s&&t out of it . His words were "if we cant break it ,you cant" . I also got to drive it off the car hauler when it was delivered to our dealer . I put 20,000 miles on it in a year. The car belonged to the Kansas City Zone and had there licence plates on it . After my year was up I could have bought it for about half of its new retail cost . I did not buy it . It sat at work about one month and a flatbed picked it up and took it to the auction . The buyer was the first owner as it was never titled . I had a friend run the Vin # ,It ended up around the Bloomington ,Il. area . So if you know someone that bought a "new" 96 with 20,000 miles it was mine .
