If I remember correctly, it is stamped with "2110783"...

Hello Tom, This car does exist. # 10783 is on the C-1registry.com No owner is listed ,but the car is located in Daleville Indiana.

Thanks Daniel Ross. I asked and got an e-mail address from the Registry folks, but it's no longer a good address. It was a company type address, now called Duke Energy (in nearby Plainfield, IN) Perhaps the person who made the Registry entry is now retired from there. That address gives no clue as to the name of the employee.

So, I am searching via NCRS contacts in Indiana. Sam Pierce has a Chevy dealership in that town, so I am thinking of calling for their help. Might actually just go to Daleville, IN and ask around.
