I was talking with a friend about the high option 65 coupe I just bought and he told me that he still has original paperwork for the 65 convertible #17048 he bought brand new. Is the car still out there?

Auto Data Direct Vehicle search engine using NMVTIS government data base shows a convertible registered with that VIN. Go there and put in 194675S117048 and see. So guess it still exits...but where.
