Glove box plastic folder with owner's manual and POP still attached. Radio book and other items still in folder. This is a Marlboro with black std interior 300 horse 4 speed car.

The car passed through Maxton Motors in Butler IN in the late '60s. Maxtons was a full line GM dealer (Chevy since 1927) and when GM pulled their franchises several years ago, like they did to many other GM stores, they were the 3rd oldest Chevy store in the USA. They survived as a used car service center and NAPA store for several years even expanding to used car dealerships in other towns and a new Ford store in Ohio. After the economy tanked in 2008 everything closed except the Ford store and the NAPA at the original location. Two years ago the NAPA store closed and just in the last couple of months creditors sold off the Ford store so Maxtons is officially no more.
A friend worked there as a used car cleanup guy and probably pilfered the pack or threw it in his tool box and forgot to put it back in the car. I got a few boxes of misc. performance parts from him in 1969 and this was in with a few old manuals. I never saw this car as this happened while I was in SE Asia.
