1966 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE BODY WITH DOORS. CONVERTIBLE DECK LID AND VERY NICE ORIGINAL GM 66 BIG BLOCK HOOD. FACTORY BLACK CAR WITH RED INTERIOR. NICE VIN PLATE AND TRIM TAG. ST. LOUIS BUILT BODY. THIS BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF A MID YEAR CORVETTE BODY WAS COMPLETELY STRIPPED OUT. AUCTION INCLUDES THE BODY WITH BARE DECK LID AND LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE DOORS WITH NON POWER WINDOW REGULATORS ONLY. 66 CORVETTE GM BIG BLOCK HOOD WITH SOME VERY MINOR REPAIR TO THE FRAME. WE HAVE NO ADDITIONAL PARTS TO THIS CAR. METAL SUB STRUCTURE ( BIRD CAGE) IS IN VERY VERY NICE CONDITION. ONLY A VERY SMALL AREA ON THE DRIVERS SIDE BEHIND WHERE THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD MOUNT HAS A RUST ISSUE. (SEE PICTURES). A PILLARS. B PILLARS AND ROCKERS ARE VERY SOLID AND SO IS THE WINDSHIELD FRAME. FIBERGLASS FIREWALL IS EXCELLENT. DRIVERS FLOOR HAS HAD SOME REPAIR NEAR THE GAS PEDAL MOUNTING AREA. TRANSMISSION TUNNEL HAS A 2 INCH BY 3 INCH SECTION REMOVED. REAR BULKHEAD AND REAR FLOORS ARE EXCELLENT. DOORS ARE BOTH SOLID AND FIT THE CAR NICELY. DECK LID FITS GREAT AND THE CAR HAS GREAT LINES. PICTURES SHOW SOME CRACKING ON THE TOP OF THE RIGHT SIDE FENDER CLOSE TO THE DOOR. PAINT WAS FRESH BUT SOME SCRATCHES AND CHIPS ALL AROUND. WILL NEED TO BE REPAINTED. SHOP THAT DID THE PAINT GOT A LITTLE CARRIED AWAY WITH SPRAY UNDER COATING. FIRE WALL AND FRONT INNER FENDERS WILL NEED TO HAVE UNDERCOAT REMOVED. REAR QUARTERS. REAR DECK. TAIL LIGHT PANEL. FRONT FENDERS. INNER FENDERS AND FRONT VALANCE ALL SEEM TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. PERFECT FOR HIGH END RESTO ROD BUILD OR REPLACE YOUR BROKEN OR RUSTY MID YEAR BODY. COMES WITH CLEAR GA TITLE.
