1967 Marina Blue Coupe 390 HP 4 Sp w Side Pipes. Originally sold at Lang Chevrolet in Fairborn OH, very close to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Ohio. Believed purchased by an Air Force Member because it next showed up in Florida East Coast, Fort Walton Beach, near Eglin Air Force Base, another Air Force Systems Command base. 3rd owner, Ivan Kachin, resides in South Carolina and recalls purchasing from 2nd owner. Ivan bought the car in 1975 from a person from Walton Beach, FL. He (Ivan), and the 2nd owner, were charter founding members of the Fort Walton Corvette Chapter. Says he is looking for a current chapter member from that time that knows the former owner he bought the car from. Ivan thought the Ft Walton owner bought it from the original owner. Said the guy could not get it to run, would hesitate when he stepped on the gas, found out later the points were not gapped correctly and were burned. Ivan bought it for $3500. We have the tank sticker, window sticker, and titles from New Mexico, Florida and South Carolina.
