Mike -

The engine is one of the factory restamps from Al Grennings previous Driveline article that covered the use of passenger car engines when the assemply line engines ran out of base engines - 300HP, 4 speed. Refer to his interesting article for the whole story. Small block is probably why no one is interested, the car is probably floating around as a 435 right now.

David, Do you have any idea when that article was written? I would like to read that article. I know of one factory restamp on a 67 coupe, but would like to learn more. Let me know. Thanks. ARA
