I have a '66 327 L79 engine out of a '57 Belair I acquired out of Denver. Engine pad reads 6118930 F0450HT. (0450 looks to be factory misstamp for April 5.) HT indicates L79. It's been rebuilt to L79 specs. Would like to reunite with car's owner or other interested buyer. Call Jim at 818.429.0188.
Bill, that is interesting. 145 vins apart which is within estimates for engines produced in a day. Bet you have wondered about that misstamp as I have. Hopefully others will respond.
