    Car Invoice 69-22117 Invoice and owner's card

    I have the above for this green coupe. 390 hp and side exhaust -- among other things. This was my first Corvette. You may not want to hear the rest of the story.

      I've been curious since you replied to the student doing research on owners' first corvettes and indicated that your 70 LT-1 is your second new Corvette: what did happen to the 69?

          It is a long and sorted story Rick. It is best summed up by the sentence: "High performance car, low performance driver." If someone ever turns up with the car, and I doubt whey ever will, I will share the whole story with them and then they can chose to publicize it or not.

          I know the car survived my ownership, but I have no idea what happened after the second owner -- and have never tried to find out. This is the first and only place I have ever put forth those numbers because I am not really sure I want to know.
