Ok, rummaging through my file cabinets, I almost fell over when I saw this. I still have a folder of info and the build sheet for the 1978 White Corvette that I sold in Florida sometime around 1991. I believe that I sold it to a gentleman who lived in Cocoa Beach, I could be wrong. His name might have been something like Don Lambert - I think he said he was a professor.

The build sheet is in very very very rough condition, but it did come off the gas tank. I've had it in a plastic bag ever since that time.
I have the bill of sale and all the numbers of the engine block, carb, heads, intake, etc. It was a one-owner car when I bought it.
It's kinda interesting: the original titled owner was in California, but the dealership where it was originally delivered was in Rochester, Michigan - Bill Fox Chevrolet.
I have other receipts etc. including interesting ticket stubs that I found under the console - it's kind of a trail across the USA.
I will mail it to you (and I will pay for postage) if you can send me a photo of the VIN.
A photo of the car with a bikini-clad 'hood ornament' is optional.
If you know where this Corvette is, give the owner a heads-up.
