I have to log in every time I come to this site. This sudden change happened right after a negative post about the NCRS. No changes were made on my computer so I ask " Is this an attempt to pizz me off"?

Re: log in problems
Jim,
Never log off, just close the browser window if you want to. When you log off that changes the cookie status to logged off and you'll have to log back in. If you just close the window or browser, the cookie stays in the logged on status and you shouldn't have to log on.
That's the way it works for me and others. Sure Jim we've singled you out to pick on you, NOT!

Re: log in problems
I checked the "remember me" box and I don't log out but I still have to log in every time I come to this site. This just started happening a few days ago. This is the only site that this is happening on so I thought it might be something on your end instead of mine.- Top

Re: log in problems
Jim,
Nothing's been changed since the website was upgraded.
1) What browser and version are you using?
2) Have you cleared out your cookies and browsing history?
3) Do you accept cookies from NCRS?
I use Chrome and have half a dozen NCRS windows open every day and never have to log in except when I log out.

Re: log in problems
Update: I cleared all my cookies and re-logged onto all the sites I usually go to and clicked the "remember me" box on each one. Every site keeps me logged in except this one. Once logged in, I can go to other sites and I'm still logged in when I return here but only for a few minutes. If I leave this site any longer, it automatically logs me off. This is the only site it happens on. This is driving me crazy-er. This has only been happening for about 2 weeks. The many years prior, I never had a problem.- Top

Re: log in problems
Jim,
You never answered this question - 1) What browser and version are you using?
Another question - is your browser set to clear cookies when you close a page?
NCRS cookies must remain intact to stay logged in.
All I can tell you is that I travel daily and remote into my home PC. The only time my NCRS login drops is when I log out. Often I'm logged in for a week at a time.

Re: log in problems
Jim,
What is your emulation setting in IE11. Log into NCRS and depress the F12 key. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the last icon (monitor icon) to selection Emulation.
Then post what the settings are for document mode and user agent string.

Re: log in problems
Jim,
Like I said, I don't have a problem staying logged in with IE.
Switch to Chrome for a couple of days, see if you experience the same problem and report back.

Re: log in problems
Jim,
Another thing about your staying logged in is - what links are you logging into and going to when coming back to the Technical Discussion Board.
1) login through the NCRS website https://www.ncrs.org/index.php and click on the Forum tab
2) or go directly to the Forum www.forums.ncrs.org/
Use one or the other of these two links to login. Do not use any other link.
Do Not log out. Just close the Windows IE11 tab or IE11 completely.
Let us know how using these two links work for you.
