    What is a "Hot Thread"?

I've searched for explanations or definitions of "hot treads" but can't seem to find on anywhere on the NCRS website. Can someone please explain what makes a thread "hot" as compared to one that is not determined to be "hot"? What is the criteria for a hot thread, who designates a thread as hot, etc etc. Trying to understand the nuances of the forum protocols - need help.

    Thanks.

A Hot Thread has more than X number of replies in 24 hours. What the value of X is for this forum I have no idea. It identifies a topic that is generating a lot of responses.

Hot threads have 100 views or 25 responces.
