Search via icons?

When you post a new topic, you are prompted to choose an icon, under the selection window it states...
Please! select or choose a Model Year Icon for your message from the following list. Using a Model Year Icon will enhance searching for your post.

Is the only way the search "enhanced" is via the visual cue of the icon while on the page with that thread on it?

Is it possible to search by the icon? That would seem to be a valuable benefit... I have a 67' so if I could CLICK on a 67 icon and get all the posts that have that icon, that would be golden.

that is exactly how it works,
just find a thread with the icon you want to search, for instance Speedo Gear Size/Color Needed.
Click on the icon for the thread. You will get something like 101 pages of threads where the 67 icon was inserted.
try it...
