    Photos missing in post

My post for the thread "Coil Part Number Succession - 1115287" (currently the last post in the thread) originally had three inserted photos. Now there are three links which don't work. How can this be fixed?

    Mark,

It appears like they were attached incorrectly or were incomplete.

You can reattach them in a new post.

Next time, please include the URL link of the thread in question so we won't have to search for it.

      Re: Photos missing in post

Just a FYI, I have had this happen also in the past.

In one case, I started a post and included photos. But then I got distracted and came back about 30-60 minutes later, maybe more.

I completed my post and added more photos. I then submitted the post.

All of the photos from my first entry time(the 30-60 min timeframe) were broken. The later photos after my return from the delay time were fine. THe first group of photos were there and viewable when I was in edit mode, but did not show up in the post as viewable, only showing as "attachment" links. Only the later photos were linked properly and viewable.

It appears that some form of timeout occurred while I was still creating the post, therefore the first group of photos were gone due to this timeout delay.

When this happens, go to "Go Advanced" mode, "Manage Attachments". The photos tagged with the broken links will still be there in the Post edit function. Delete those photos with the broken links. Continue to edit the post and add the photos again and place them in the proper position as needed in the post.
