Thread subscription Notifications

For the last several days I have received no email notifications when others have replied to threads that I've been subscribed to.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior, or is it just me?

I have changed nothing, same email address, same computers, same everything. This happens to me every once in a while.

Please reply to this thread so I can check my email for notifications.

edit....and BTW, before they stopped completely, they were coming, but hours after the post replies.

I have checked all of the major spam lists and ncrs.org is not on any of them. I did check directly with Comcast as I have an account there and ncrs.org is not blacklisted there.

Like the US Postal system sometimes the truck runs off the road. I can't explain why you would not be receiving all of the emails sent from ncrs.org.

Hi John,

Thanks for checking. I just checked in on this thread and saw 2 replies but never got a email for either.

Maybe it'll fix itself after the truck rights itself. I have no idea.

However, coincidentally, it seems like after I got the email from Mike Ingham regarding the Cincy office, my notifications stopped.

Any possible correlation?

FYI, I just checked my deleted emails.....the last notification I got was 4/4 at 9:50 AM.....

Jack, I just replied via email to your PM. I'm on Comcast.


I just did a experiment. Mine are still broken.

I went into my profile and reset my notifications....

Default Thread Subscription Mode:

I set it to "Do Not Subscribe" and saved it.

I then went back in and set it to "Instantly, Using Email", and saved it.

Not sure if it'll help, but worth a try. I'll be watching....

Was gone from 9AM yesterday all day and evening. No notifications arrived. My experiment didn't work I guess......

Rich- I'm working on some testing and ideas with John... I believe he's seeing an issue, but has no resolve as of yet.
Please allow him some time to investigate and troubleshoot... hope this isn't a difficult problem.

Well................Guess what?


At 4:15PM just a short while ago, I just recieved 19(that's nineteen) email notifications from "no_reply@ncrg.org" from last week until now. They all came in at once.

What's really spooky is I was on the phone when I clicked "fetch" in my email. I picked up the phone and it was John Hinckley calling, asking some questions about ignition switches I had here.

So.................JOHN FIXED IT!

Kidding aside, did anyone do anything there to fix it, or is it just coincidence that the USPS Mail Truck got towed out of that ditch!

According to the post time of Dan's reply, it was time stamped on April 5th, 4:27PM I thought it was around April 4th I stopped getting the notifications, so it must've been the 5th.

We found the issue with email notifications and have it fixed. You have probably gotten a ton of messages backed up from several days ago by now.
