I need some body work done on a 1963 corvette. Is it appropriate for me to post an inquiry for recommendations of a reputable person who does quality work in my area? If so, where do I make this post? Would Technical Forum be appropriate? Thank you.
Is asking for recommendations of names of people who do restoration work appropriate?

Thanks. I think in 2013 I posted that I was looking to buy some heads with a specific date. I was later advised the post was deleted. You were not allowed to buy or sell items on the site. I was embarrassed because I did not know the rules. This time I decided to ask first. Again, Thanks.- Top

Raymond
sorry you felt embarrassed over that. There is a classified ads forum for buying or selling parts since about 2014, and we try to keep the Tech board focused on working on and enjoying the cars, rather than trading in parts for them. Hope your post gets you the info you need. Good luck- Top
