Do we have a list showing how judging points are earned and posted? I do know how many maximum points per event, depending on local, regional, national. I am confused as to how they are posted and are all assignments during a event posted, even if they exceed the maximum points allowed. A "rules sheet" would be great. Thanks all... Dave

Re: Judging Points
David,
1) allow thirty days after an event for the Chapter Judging Chairman/Event Delegate to enter, Offer and for the National Judging Chairman to approve earned Judging Points
2) Earned Judging Points are posted in members Technical Discussion Board profile the next day after they're Approved by the National Judging Chairman
3) as Arland pointed out, Event Judging Points are defined in the Judging reference manual
4) JRM excerpt on Judging Points can be found here https://www.ncrs.org/training/events...ing_Points.pdf

Re: Judging Points
Pages 63/64 review the car itself. My question is how are my points as a judge applied to my NCRS profile? I am approaching 100 points, yes still a novice but learning, and my Texas Regional judging assignment points, as shown on my profile, do not make sense to me. Although they may be correct. I would like to understand "the rules" if you would. Thanks...- Top

Re: Judging Points
Dave,
All "earned" Judging Points, both Flight and Concours are counted towards the Judging Program levels.

Re: Judging Points
Folks, thanks for all the feedback, perfect. However, and I did not detail this, My profile shows that I participated in 3 activities for a 6 points total. A 4th point activity, Advanced Judging School, does not show up on my profile and therefore no 1 extra point to max out at 7. Others at the same advanced judging school are showing this activity in their profiles. I see now that this is likely just an oversight on part of the person entering the information into my profile. Will update once I hear back from national judging, assuming that is where I need to take this question. Thanks all... Dave- Top

Re: Judging Points
All, a smarter person would have talked with his/her local chapter judging chair first! For local and regional events, the local/sponsoring judging chair is responsible for entering each members activity information into the national database. Any questions should be addressed to them directly. At national events, the individual member activity information/points is vents, as I understand, is handled by team leads/school lead. The 9th Edition Corvette Judging Reference Manual pages 82-83 (different pages than 8th Edition) detail judging level points. Thanks all for responding. Really, not too difficult to understand and good to know the person responsible to update judging points.- Top

Re: Judging Points
Gary, thanks, I wrongly assumed the national judging chair. Now I understand local/sponsoring judging chair for local and regional events and team leaders for national events. I did just update the forum to reflect this information. Thanks!! Dave- Top

Re: Judging Points
Dave,
National Events contact National Judging Chairman, not the National Team Leaders.
