A couple Qs about the new forum

Two things have cropped up for me regarding the new forum look.

1) I've attempted to set the User Settings>Account>Posts per Page to view 30 and 40 posts per page, but it doesn't seem to work. I've logged out and back in and cleared cookies, but the view only shows 19 posts when clicking on any of the main forum links.

2) The old forum had a button, something like "Unread Posts" that I used often to only see things new to me. It appears now that I need to open each forum to see what is bolded as new. The Latest Activity button does not filter out what I've already seen.

Overall, I think the new look is good and will take some getting used to. Thank you for all of the troubleshooting you guys are doing.

• Sphinx search is not properly configured on this site.

I also get that same message "Sphinx search is not properly configured on this site." when doing a search. Sunday the search worked partly, but only seemed to look in the TDB archive.

Ian,

1) you should be able to increase the number of posts per page now. Give it a try and let us know if it works.

2) Related Topics that were at the bottom of the page on the old forum is not available in the new software and there's no mod nor work around for it.

The Sphinx search issue has been resolved. Two down and hundreds to go.
