    Forum Settings

We have had several questions about how many posts to a page, and things like that. The old forum allowed the admin to select several features as defaults. Members could go to their Profile and Settings and change them to suit themselves.

Now you need to go the Settings and change any settings you want to show the forum as you like it.

At the top of the page where you logged in you will find your name. Click on your name, or the little down arrow to open a menu. Select "User Settings". You will find a menu with four choices, Profile - Account - Privacy - Notifications

Profile - Best not to make any changes here unless it is your Shirt Size. This information is all generated by your membership account and any changes will just be overwritten.

Account - Don't change your password or email here! Go to SERVICES and find "HELP" and reset your password there.
You can change options below that, but make sure you remember what you changed as it may not look like what you expect.
Posts per page - Drop down allows you to increase the number of post before you have to go to the next page.
Forum Style - There are a few other styles available, but haven't been customized from stock.
Privacy - Not really sure there is anything on this page you would want to change, but remember and changes in case you need to change back.
If you click on "Reset Fields" all settings in this tab will go back to default.
Notifications - Subscribing means you will get an email to let you know that a post you started or contributed to has been posted to.

How to sort search results by date? "Latest to oldest" not a default for me.

Still getting used to the new digs. I there a setting for us to change the posts in threads from descending to ascending, and visa-versa? I'm not liking having to scroll alllllll the way down to get to the first post in a thread. I would much rather see the original post, and then all of the responses. Is that something I can do as a setting, or are we stuck with it the way it is?
          Thanks.
