Posting links to other internet sites

Reference my post on AO Smith panels question. When I posted link it contained a lot of text not just link. Old Board a link was just a link.

FYI Web Manager/Moderator: I only copied link to JohnZ's CF post. As I look at my link just now, it is ONLY link information. When I press save and look at my post, it has a lot of verbiage from CF post. On our old Tech Board, a link was just a link - no extraneous text. Thanks

You need to include the link to the post you're referring to, otherwise we don't know where it is to see what you're mentioning.

Link below was what I posted to thread on AO Smith panels. What I see before I hit "Post Reply" is just a link - no other "summary" comments from link. Is this some sort of AI "improvement"?

David- Some people might appreciate a brief summary... others may not.
If one uses the PREVIEW tab before posting, they would see that small summary.

One way around, is to hyperlink some text...
Simply HIGHLIGHT any text, and use the SMALL 'chain link' icon, in the row of icons.
