Minor suggestion: color code the date icons

If the date icons were color coded, we all would learn to look for the color rather than read the date. Don't know if this is desireable or technically feasible. Seems easier to me than having to read each date.

What do you think ?

Charles, the year class icons were color coded when the new TDB opened for business March 1, but the colors were "wimpy, wimpy, wimpy".

It wasn't bothering me enough to complain, but I guess it was bothering somebody, because then the year class icons were all changed to blue, and they remain as blue.

At least the blue has enough contrast with the white background that they are quickly readible. Not so with the colored icons; with some of the colors, I found myself leaning forward and squinting to read.

I originally had the icons color coded to match one of the popular colors for that model year. Cute, but as Chuck says they were hard to read. Just not enough good colors that would show up and still differentiate the many model years. Still on my list to add icons for C5 and C6.

Any suggestions appreciated.
