    'Go to first new post' icon

    When I click on this icon, this machine sits and thinks for a minute or two then returns a 'cannot find server' error screen. All other functions work perfectly.

    This happens on only one of my machines- the only one that uses M/S Explorer. My other machines run Firefox and are OK in all respects.

    Other web sites using the same software (VH, CF, CAC) run OK.

    Any ideas?

          Michael,

          I managed to find the button you are refering to but it does work for me... It takes three seconds to start the new page though...

              Same thing happens to me at the office, but at the hospital and home it works fine.

              Who knows.

                  Same to me at work, home -- laptop and desktop -- work OK. It only happens on this site. Other sites, using vBulletin, work OK for me everywhere.

                      New post button's always worked for me. Takes about 3 seconds. On Thurs & Fri it got a little slow as John and Rob were importing tons of photos for the old archives and doing other software behind the scene updates. Gary....

                          All, could you retest. I just found and resolved a problem related to the new post icons which could also have caused this problem...

                          Please let me know if you still experience the problem or if it has disappeared?

                                  Just tried it again, still no joy. Again, it's just one machine (out of five) that acts this way. All the others are fine.
