user name

Help,
I can't get my computer to remember my user name and it's a pain to keep typing it to log in. This computor is new to my house so I am trying to get things back to normal.

Timothy, in your browser under Tools there should be an option for "Remember Passwords". Make sure that box is checked. Gary....

With my windows XP there is nothing like that under tools. I know it's something like this that I have missed and I appreciate the help. Tim

Timothy, once you log on, go to the tool bar, there are two stars. One larger, one with a green cross superimposed over it. Click on the cross and click on add to favorites. It will give you a choice as to what file folder you store it in.
