    Steven,

Good question. There is no function for that at this time. Guess we should put that on our todo list.

Your chapter membership manager has a function available to do this (add and remove members to their chapter). He might need some assistance using this the first time, if so, let him/her contact me or John.

      regards,
      Rob.

Rob, what if I wanted to edit the types of cars I have? That is in the same section. It just seems that this should be a simple update to a personal profile that members should be able to perform on their own rather than going thru our membership chairman.

My sense is that the membership chairman does not have access (edit ability) to the personal profiles of all the chapter members, do they? If so, I doubt anyone realizes that.

          Steven,

Chapter Chairmen or their designate, usually the membership chairman or treasurer (one per chapter) has access to check expiration dates of their chapter members. Included in that access is the ability to (by membership number) designate who is a member of their chapter. Next time they need to check the roster to make sure all members are also national members any expired memberships show the expiration date in red.

The only access the chapters have is to check the date. They can not change anything in your profile or your membership record, except when they select you as a chapter member you then show up in your profile as a member of that chapter. It also helps them to verify that anyone who claims to be a member of their chapter is really a member.

The section about cars owned like the chapter membership probably should be editable by the member and that is on our todo list.

              Steve,

We still have a lot on our plate and it is growing. Since your the only person who has shown any interest in this item it is very low on the list.

Rob and I are part time and we have many features that we are working on that affect how NCRS tracks the data that we have collected. These projects are taking precedence over everything else right now.
