RE-use of previously posted thumbnail

On a new thread, how do I add to my response a previously posted pic (ID # 13072 when I hover over it) from an old post (several months ago) ? Same subject but different context.

If I do a browse and upload from my hard drive (as I did back then), the pic will be rejected as being a duplicate image [apparently to save space on NCRS servers].

Wayne,

I think what Gary was trying to say was you can link to the old picture in the new message. Find the picture that you want to use, then right click on it. Select Copy Image Location.
Then go to the new message and then click on the Picture Icon . In the box that pops up click Ctrl-v to paste the location into the post like this. It is best to use the Preview Post button to insure that the picture is what you expect it to be. If all is good then go to the Submit button.

Gary, John -- thanks; I'll try it next time. To get around the limitation on re-posting a digitally exact copy on the reply a few minutes ago to a recent thread, I went to my hard drive and cropped a bit and changed the file name. But that defeats the storage issue .
