      Hey Franz. Good to see you on the Discussion Board. To delete a post go to edit, when the edit screen comes up, look at the bottom and you will see delete. Just click the delete and follow the instructions.

              In the lower RH corner of each post you will see edit and quote. Click on edit, you will see the post in edit form. In lower RH corner of this screen you will see delete. Click on the delete button, you will get another screen asking you if you want to delete. Click on delete and you should be done.

                  Franz,

                  Editing posts is available for about 12 hours after you make a post. After that it is unavailable.

                  Deleting posts is not allowed. Dick is a Moderator so he does have the ability to delete posts. That is why his view of the screen differs from yours a little bit.

                  I keep a secret non-admin account so I can log in and see exactly what you see to answer questions like this one.

                  The reason deleting posts is not allowed is that it can destroy the Thread if one of the posts that defines the thread is deleted.

                  If you need to have a post deleted you can go to the Helpdesk and request that it be deleted. If it doesn't mess up the thread your request will be honored.
