    Thread layout ?

    Why do some posts indent (fall a level below) on this forum? Also, why do we get the "More messages below" (something like that) in the thread table.

    Why can't we just maintain the threads chronologically, without indentation, and without that "More messages below".

    It makes them hard to follow.

    I did try searching for the answer first. Didn't find anything.

    When people using the thread view and press the quote or "+ button they react on a specific posting. This causes their posting to be attached onto that specific post.

    More messages below occurs when you reach a too deep level. To limit the size of the tree (and download speed of the page) it is limited to a certain level.

    I personally use the threaded view, after some getting use to time, I found it the most pleasing way of dealing with all the threads...
