As you will find in your upcoming issue of the Driveline we are adding a new feature to the Technical Discussion Board. Your Judging Recognition Points will now be shown in your public profile on the Technical Discussion Board starting around the 20th of September.
The events listed will be for the past year. Since data has only been directly entered into the new database for the last few months events from earlier this year may not show up even though the points for those events are included in your total. After the new system has been in use for one year from then on you will find a running year of all of the events for which you have been credited judging points. If you attend an event and don’t find it listed in your profile within a reasonable amount of time you need to contact the Judging Chairman of the event you attended. We all work and have other responsibilities so please be reasonable with the Chapter Judging Chairmen. Give them time to recoup from all of the work of setting up an event before you expect them to enter all of the data for members who participated in the event.
You will be able to see a Public Profile by clicking on your name in a post you have made, or buy looking it up in the list of Currently Active Users at the bottom of the page. You can also look up a name from the “Members List” from the menu above the messages.
Every effort has been made to make the judging point database accurate and up to date. In the event you feel there are errors with respect to points earned so far in 2009 please provide a detailed history to Roy Sinor at rsinor@sbcglobal.net, listing the events you participated in.
I am going to leave for Vacation starting the 15th of September for 3 weeks and will not have much internet access. I will check email when possible but it may be as much as a week between opportunities. Please direct all problems to the NCRS Helpdesk at https://www.ncrs.org/helpdesk/ for quicker attention.
